Terms of Service

Knodd provides an AI-curated feed of market-relevant news. Free accounts receive content delayed by approximately twenty-four (24) hours. Paid subscribers receive a live feed and additional features as described at checkout.

You must be at least 16 years old and capable of forming a binding contract to use the Service. You are responsible for the accuracy of your account information and for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.

Paid plans are billed at USD 15.99 per month (or such other price presented at checkout) by our payment processor, Dodo Payments. Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. You may cancel at any time; the subscription remains active until the end of the paid period.

Except where required by law, payments are non-refundable. We may modify pricing on reasonable notice; changes apply at the next renewal.

You agree not to:

• Resell, redistribute, scrape, or republish content from the Service.
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to derive source from the Service.
• Circumvent any access control, including the free-tier delay or rate limits.
• Use the Service to harass, defraud, or harm others, or for unlawful purposes.
• Interfere with the integrity, security, or performance of the Service.

Content delivered through the Service, including AI-generated summaries, is for informational purposes only. It is not investment, legal, tax, or other professional advice and must not be relied upon as such. You are solely responsible for any investment decisions you make.

The Service, including software, design, trademarks, and AI-generated summaries, is owned by Cryptatus and protected by applicable laws. Headlines and source content remain the property of their respective owners. Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the Service for personal use.

The Service integrates with third-party providers (e.g. Dodo Payments, news data providers, AI inference providers). Your use of those services may be subject to their own terms. We are not responsible for third-party services.

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR FREE, OR THAT CONTENT WILL BE ACCURATE OR COMPLETE.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, CRYPTATUS AND ITS AFFILIATES SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUES, DATA, OR GOODWILL. OUR AGGREGATE LIABILITY ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THE SERVICE SHALL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) AMOUNTS PAID BY YOU TO US IN THE TWELVE MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM OR (B) USD 100.

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Cryptatus and its officers, employees, and agents from any claim or demand arising out of your use of the Service or your breach of these Terms.

We may suspend or terminate your access at any time for breach of these Terms, suspected fraud, or to comply with law. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. Sections that by their nature should survive will survive termination.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Cryptatus is established, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles. Disputes shall be resolved exclusively in the competent courts of that jurisdiction, unless a mandatory consumer protection law in your country of residence provides otherwise.

We may revise these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via the Service or by email. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
